Welcome to Whipple Educational Consulting

Throughout Heidi’s teaching career as a classroom teacher, an instructional coach, interventionist, mathematics specialist, and state mathematics coordinator, she saw an opportunity and need for teachers to have access to high quality professional learning that is immediately practical and applicable. She began authoring courses and offering them across the state to meet the daily needs that teachers faced to best assist their students and to better identify the students’ individual needs. It was through these courses that Heidi began to see sustained changes in teaching practices resulting in better outcomes for students. The interest was high and the demand for this type of professional learning and supporting school systems grew to the point where the need for consulting expertise was necessary and Whipple Educational Consulting began.

Spending extended time with teachers and guiding them to see why we need to change our practices, followed by very specific ideas about how to change, supported by research and abundant resources, have led to dramatic changes in classroom practices and school teams.

Seeing lasting change in teachers and students is the most exciting work that she has done in her career and would love the opportunity to assist with your needs.

Every child can learn

The greatest gift that we can bestow upon the children in our communities, schools, and systems is a robust education that will enable them to believe that they are capable of making informed decisions and choices about their lives without limitations. It is the right of every student to learn to communicate, read, calculate and solve problems. Universal instruction is our superpower and all kids need access.
